The Round 1 and Round 2 (Last 16) draw for the Elaine Watson Cup was made earlier today at Football Brisbane’s Logan Football Complex offices.
Due to the recent withdrawal of Southport SC from the Brisbane Women’s Premier League competition, the remaining 11 teams and 12 Women’s Capital League 1 teams made up a 23 team draw from which 9 byes were drawn for Round 1 along with 7 ties.
Football Brisbane also sought expressions of interest from Sunshine Coast Football zone clubs to enter the Elaine Watson Cup in 2020, of which none were forthcoming.
