The Football Brisbane Annual General Meeting was held last Saturday with representatives from 30 Football Brisbane clubs in attendance.
The session was led by Football Brisbane Chairman Mr. Jeremy Medina who in conjunction with the sitting Football Brisbane board, presented the 2020 Football Brisbane Annual Report and answered questions from clubs before ratifying the report – a copy of the annual report can be found here.
Following the completion of the Annual Report ratification, clubs were asked to cast votes to elect two new Football Brisbane board members in the place of outgoing board members Mr. Paul Freer and Ms. Zoe Bickerstaffe.
Votes were then cast and counted with candidates Mr. Rabieh Krayem and Mr. Jason Ganter successfully appointed to the board for three-year terms.
After the conclusion of the Annual General Meeting, clubs were invited to attend a discussion led by Mr. Medina about The Future of Football giving clubs an opportunity to express their views to the board on several important topics.
The final event of the day was an information session to clubs on the basics of administration delivered by members of the Football Brisbane Competition Department staff.
